Can anyone in the Chesapeake, Va or surrounding areas suggest a good family lawyer?

My friend went to a divorce 2yrs ago. His ex online pharmacy without a prescription got remarried (his lover) and are fighting for sole custody of her son ten years. Her divorce lawyer seems orginial doing enough to prevent malpractice. She needs a lawyer to fight tooth and nail. He was the father of the custody of their two teenage children. The former had been in a psych room during their marriage and his current attorney did not bring this up in the original divorce hearing because he said it would not bar the case. ¿(If you can only custody of her former triumphs, he moved to Canada? Those are your plans.) Help please. It would be great if you used when presonnaly attorney.
Go to or let your fingers do the shopping via the internet. Yahoo yellow pages is a good place to start.
Do a search on targetlaw. Find several different attorney sites and do a little investigating based upon your request. Than start calling around…. Good luck
The original lawyer is probably right about the psych ward thing. You don’t automatically lose custody due to mental illness.
Anyway, your friend should start calling and interviewing lawyers until she finds one that has the aggressive attitude she wants. Then she should ask him or her for references.
Time is of the essence–the ex may win the right to move to Canada.
